Apple picking

What better way to start fall than picking apples! My favorite farm is Hillview Farm in Gilette, NJ.
They have a big apple orchard and grow a variety of apples: Cortland, Empire, Fuji, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Jonagold, Jonathan, Macoun, McIntosh, Red Delicious, Stayman/Winesap. You will find the perfect apple for any dish and recipe you have in mind.
My ultimate go to place for no fail recipes is Jamie Oliver. His simple and irresistible apple tart is always a huge success. Try it, experience how the smell of a freshly baked tart warms up your home and enjoy every bite!
